11/25/09 01:18 pm - amz

yesterday we did partner yoga for the first time and today my thighs are aching like nobody's business. but because it was very fun, i went online to search for more videos, and this one is awesome. i bet if we can do this, we can perform on the streets and earn enough money to go overseas for one month

9/21/09 11:19 am - after turning 21,

been meaning to post something to thank my friends/family after my birthday for quite some time but had never really gotten down to it. hmmm, this year has been really good up till now and i'm thankful for whatever/whoever that are in my life right now (: am really lucky to have everyone!

yup, so nothing really changes after turning 21, which everybody should have known by now hehe

1. my mother still tells me not to let strangers into the house before she leaves me alone at home
2. i still giggle to myself whenever jq refer to his Consumer Behavior professor as his CB prof
3. i still lie sometimes so that i can skip tuition to do absolutely nothing (when will my responsibility come? 55?)

right now, my parents are watching ge tai on dvd, liu ling ling just said ' 我爱大家, 希望大家也爱我' and told everybody who has an interest in her to line up beside the stage after the show to register their marriage for 5 bucks because now '行情' very pai. aiyoh, im really low class, this kind of thing is blogworthy to me. btw, my father bought the dvd and it was autographed by the notorious drag queen who has been making headlines for the whole of 七月 on wanbao

school is getting pretty busy, not as busy as the rest because god knows why they have so many activities/why they spend so much time in school, but oh well, i am not having as much time to myself as i would like anymore. i would really like to use my lovely oven everyday, or go out to take lots of random photos, or play mahjong until late at night, or paint my nails and rub off and repaint, or watch shows on cable and then watch it again on repeat, and then watch it on repeat again heheh how many ways can i write this, and then when it's on repeat, watch again and again, but oh well, school is fine i guess, it is better than going to work

hmm, somebody is singing an andy lau song on the dvd

ooh speaking of my oven, i have only baked once in it so far. made banana walnut muffins which were pretty awesome, but then they were flat muffins ): maybe next time must fill the muffin holes up to the brim so that they would be humongous but then i hate washing so if the batter flows out of the hole i would scream at the oven ahhhhhh

have been playing this game alot

hahaha it is crazy fun. but uh oh, i have to go and study soon already! have been failing all my tax quizzes, and have many many midterms coming up! my crazy BP prof who laughs like kim leng has not been teaching (he's been spending lots of time commenting on presentations while crossing his legs and kiaping his b_____ and showing us black and white videos with charlie chaplin-like characters) but still giving us assignments to do, so in the end we have to go and study the chapter first before we do. sack him sack him!

OKAY THE NEXT TIME I AM GOING TO ATTEMPT BAKING THE VERY CHALLENGING PORTUGUESE EGGTARTS AGAIN bb!

8/12/09 01:13 am - how accurate is this name analysis man

  • Your name of Li-Ching has brought you enjoyment in working with people in circumstances in which you can organize and direct their efforts, preferably in an executive position.

  • You are self-expressive, philanthropic, clever, and ambitious.

  • You like to specialize in whatever you undertake.

  • This name gives you an optimistic outlook on life.

  • You appreciate good quality in all things and want the best money can buy.

  • You have big ideals and dreams about the things you would like but you are not always willing to put forth the necessary effort, particularly if it means being subservient to others or having to work in an unimportant, menial capacity.

  • Position and means are important to you and, in order to create this impression of affluence, you will spend even when it is not prudent to do so.

  • You like to give the impression that you have everything under control.
  • Although the name Li-Ching creates idealism and the urge to help others, we emphasize that it causes a materialistic approach that frustrates higher humanitarian qualities.

8/2/09 03:35 pm - it's not an epic fail!

hello, this was our first ever batch of eclairs! and they looked strangely like eclairs and even tasted like them! GOOD JOB!

well, for those who haven't heard about my previous baking experience, this success was very rare because i usually epic FAIL in my maiden batches of stuff. like in sec 2, when my donuts puffed out so much they did not have holes in them. my mother said they tasted like stones and as you could guess, they were hugely unpopular. when i threw them into the chute the next day, each of them made a 'clonk' sound.

another time when i was baking with my cousins for christmas, after carefully cutting out different shapes (mind you, very cute shapes! there were angels, stars, santa, xmas trees, and the cookie cutters were expensive metal ones!) in the dough and sending them into the oven, they combined like pangaea breaking up into continents on rewind. at the end of it i had one huge rectangular cookie, no doubt the shape of the tray

in recent time, the carrot cake that me and jq baked just looked like mouldy 年糕, and even after sending it back to the oven a few more times, it was still not very edible. and for the record, we spent 5 hours baking that cake

oh but great, the eclairs were alright! even though i screwed up the chocolate because i added milk to it (i thought bakers always just anyhow add stuff and they would turn out great!) but for some strange reason, the chocolate started coagulating and was no longer smooth, which is why the eclairs all looked slightly disfigured. okay next time we will bake more and let more people try heheh

okay, now i have to go do internship report, which i have put off doing for a month already and it is due tomorrow. how i love last minute work! i have been doing essentially nothing for the past month, maybe except for setting foot on tioman and completing 7 out of 8 stages on the story mode of Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! What Did I Do To Deserve This! btw, i really love the name of that game kekeke

till the next time i blog!! and i'll end with a picture of clickclick sleeping! bb!
